12/17--A new episode of Degrassi comes on today on The-N. After "Back in Black", The-N will be taking a 2 month
break.
CTV will, too, take a short break after Eye of the Tiger, which aired earlier this week.
Degrassi is about a group of 8th to 12th graders at Degrassi Community School. Kids at DCS deal with all kinds of issues (i.e.
sex, drugs, dating). In the second season DCS merges with a nearby high school, so everybody is still at the same school.
This show is basically based on the episodes of Degrassi Junior High as well as Degrassi High. Some characters from those
two shows are in Degrassi: The Next Generation with the part of teachers, parents, etc....

What's Happenin' On Degrassi?
On The-N--Since the shooting, Sean's become a local hero, but while he may be basking a little in his hero status, it doesn't
mean he wants to be on TV. But his mother does and a reporter's got the tape. Upset, Sean decides to confront his past so
he and his friends take off on a road trip to Wasaga Beach. But no one's really prepared for what they discover, least of
all Sean. Things at school are particularly awkward for Toby----while everything with violence touching the school, he's trying
to deal with the death of his best friend.
On CTV--Eye of the Tiger
Jimmy retuens to school and the whole school is eager to see him back in action but Jimmy has something to reveal about
what really happened the day of the shooting and how its gonna affect him long-term. And a guilt-ridden Spinner tries to reddem
himself with Jimmy, but will he tell him how him and Jay told Rick that Jimmy set the whole thing up causing him to get shot?
Also Danny doesn't exactly agree with the new relationship between JT and Liberty and even begins to feel jealous towards
them and he thinks JT isn't good enough for his sister.
